I know that I definitely want to include faces on my packaging (like the previos layout idea's I had) but after looking at the work of Martin O'Neill, I think that using a similar style to him in creating colages would be a good way for me to go, as it will help get the "nutty" play on words across and will make the imagery much more fun and interesting.
Below is a rough sketch of something I came up with. The imagery is a collaged face with different eyes/mouth and nose. The hair would then be made out of a raspberry, which shows the flavour that's in the chocolate. I sketched some rollers into her hair too as I thought the raspberry look a bit like a perm.
I then drew a speach bubble coming from the mouth which states what percent of coacoa is in the chocolate bar - which again adds to the fun of the design and brand.
